The South African Weather Services is warning of heavy rain in several Western Cape regions this weekend.
The bulk of the rain is expected from this afternoon continuing into Sunday morning.
Heavy rainfall is expected to fall in areas affected by flooding two weeks ago.
It includes the Overberg area as well as Cape Agulhas, Langeberg, Overstrand, Stellenbosch, Swellendam and Theewaterskloof.
Authorities warn of flooding on roads and settlements as well as rockfalls and mudslides.
Disaster management teams are on standby to help communities in the event of any emergency.

Lindiwe Fassie, the older sister to the late songstress Brenda, has passed away. According to her brother Themba Fassie (65), Lindiwe was sick for some time but she would sometimes get better.
