In the less than six-second video shot by a bystander, Brown is seen enjoying himself moments after sniffing the substance at a Dallas night club.

The musician is no stranger to controversy as he has previously been to rehab. He was detained in Paris earlier this year after he was allegedly accused of rape.

A woman accused Brown, along with his bodyguard and a friend, of raping her in the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Paris in January, a source close to the case told AFP on the condition of anonymity.

He was also questioned over a suspected drug offence, the source said. He was later released and he then threatened to sue for defamation.

In July 2018, the singer was stopped by police and arrested after his concert at the Coral Sky Ampitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Law enforcement sources have told TMZ that Brown was arrested over an outstanding warrant out from a nearby county, although the exact details were not known.

Bang Showbiz reported Brown to have had visits from police as the Kiss Kiss hitmaker was also convicted for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009, and was sentenced to five years of probation, community service, and a year for domestic violence.

In 2014, Brown allegedly spent almost three months in jail for violating his probation over an incident where he allegedly assaulted a man in Washington.
