Its wedding bells for Skeem Saam actress Lerato Marabe who plays Pretty Seakamela on the soapie – younger sister to Clement Maosa’s Zamokuhle Seakamela and Innocent Sadiki’s Sthoko.
It’s been reported by several publications that the actress got married traditionally over the weekend. Lerato shared images of herself through her Instagram stories dressed in traditional bridal wear, leading many to believe that she’s officially off the market.
She also shared a snap of herself and her brother. It appears he was there to support her as well as the rest of her family. None of the Skeem Saam cast members were spotted there. We believe it could be due to strict lockdown rules around social gatherings.
Another Skeem Saam actress to recently get married is Pebetsi Matlaila. Her marriage came as a shock to many after slamming the idea of marriage only to get married shortly after. At the moment she is expecting her second child. “Mrs. Makoti. Wife….#NovemberVibes… I’ve learned not to announce my moves before making them. Not everyone wishes the best for you. I Have been preparing myself psychologically,” she wrote on social media.
The 21-year-old Marabe literally grew up on Skeem Saam as she was there from the very beginning. She is now in her 9th season with the SABC educational drama. Her character is dating Patrick Seleka’s, Katlego Peterson. She is currently studying at Turf university completing her studies. Pretty is very outspoken and often gets in trouble for her big mouth. Lerato and Clement Maosa are currently the official ambassadors for Drip Footwear.
