Government has announced several regulations to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The regulations were gazetted late on Wednesday by Cooperative Governance Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
Under the new regulations places that serve alcohol, such as clubs, pubs, restaurants and shebeens will be limited to no more than 50 patrons. They will also have to close by 6pm and by 1pm on Sundays.
Other rules include the spreading of fake coronavirus news which could land you in jail as it is now a criminal offence. Prison visits have also been halted for 30 days.
