Police Minister Bheki Cele is expected to shed more light on political killings in KwaZulu-Natal.

He is expected to give an update on the work of the Inter-Ministerial Committee Intervention on political killings.

It was appointed in 2018 by President Cyril Ramaphosa to look into over 80 politically related killings in the province.

Councillors, including the ANC’s Sindiso Magaqa, have been at the receiving end of violent attacks, which many claim were politically motivated.
